[Solved] Code completion for classes: lowercase identifiers instead of CamelCase lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp ยท 2012-01-04 09:26 Hi all, Often when writing a class, I write a function/property/procedure header in the class declaration, e.g.: Code: [Select]type TInstaller = class(TObject) private ... procedure ThisIsAClassProcedure; then press Ctrl-Shift-C (code completion). Lazarus fills out the body below, e.g.: Code: [Select]procedure Tinstaller.Thisisaclassprocedure; begin end; While this already saves a lot of typing, I'd love to see the resulting procedure body have the same casing as my original. While typing & experimenting, I think I found the solution: change: Options, Codetools, Words, Identifier policy: from e.g. Lowercase, First letter up to None Hope this is helpful to other people seeing the same thing. Thanks, Captain Obvious
