Lazarus Crashes on New Project

Hi,

When I create a new lazarus(v0.9.31) project, or just close the active
project lazarus crashes.

I can't remember having anything changed though ;/.

The crashes seem to come out of nowhere.

Anyone has an Idea why it crashes ?

I really need help =(.. I'm having everything configurated so well and
all the components I need are installed, so I would really love to fix
the issue, rather than reinstalling lazarus.

I got it fixed by opening a new project from the win-explorer.

Seems like a problem in my project files =/...

start lazarus with --debug-log=C:\lazlog.txt

and see if anything useful, is in the log.

If it has a stacktrace, but no symbols, you may have to recompile the
IDE + LCL with debug info using -gl

I'm really glad that lazarus has such a helpful community

I tried recompiling the IDE, but it didnt help, it must be an error in
my project files thats somehow causing the IDE to crash. I'll try the
log option next time the problem occurs thanks !!

The recompile with debug info; or the debug-log are not to workaround
the error.

The error will still happen => but with luck, if the trace is good,
then one of the developers may be able to identify the real problem,
and fix it.
