Autocapitalize lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jboadas · 2011-07-31 22:56 Does The Lazarus editor can Auto-Capitalize keywords ? I apreciate your answers because I really like this feature (Like the Purebasic editor). Best regards ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2011-07-31 23:46 Welcome to Lazarus forum, Go to main menu: Tools -> Options ... -> (select on the left) Codetools -> Words -> (select on the right) Keyword policy: Uppercase ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2011-08-01 00:30 That only covers code, that gets inserted automatically, e.g. on class completion. You can define "code templates" (Menu Options) define a template, that matches "begin", and put "Begin" into the expanded text. Trigger on "word completion" It may be quicker to locate the file lazarus.dci in your config path (View / Ide Internals / About IDE), and edit it (while lazarus is NOT running) add something like (for each keyword) [begin | make me upper] $(AttributesStart) AutoOnLineBreak=true AutoOnSpace=true AutoOnWordEnd=true $(AttributesEnd) Begin no empty lines before, nor after first begin after [, is the keyword to look for. Last Begin is the final spelling -- Or, if you do not need it while typing, you can probably get Jedi Code Formatter (JCF) to do it. Open "Install packages" it is in the list (search for JCF) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jboadas · 2011-08-01 13:07 Thanks for your help
