Font for Editor lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Blaazen · 2011-05-21 23:03 I am interested what font do you use for code editor. I installed new linux distro (few week ago) and there was only FreeMono so I was looking for some nicer font. Finally, I decided for Courier SWA (I downloaded it from here: http://www.font- zone.com/download.php?fid=4078). Please attach here small screenshot of your code editor and description of the font (link to download is welcome). It can be useful. I attached mine. Thank you. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- typo · 2011-05-21 23:12 My font: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2011-05-22 01:07 Don't have a screenshot, and haven't used it on linux in a while. but IIRC dejavu sans mono is quite nice ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Legolas · 2011-05-22 09:26 In my early programming days I changed about a zillion of fonts, every time coming back to the plain old Courier New Just in case: http://www.lowing.org/fonts/ and http://www.lowing.org/fonts/images/showPreview.php ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Neil Darlow · 2011-05-23 10:43 I have tried various Monospace fonts and see little difference between Bitstream Vera Sans Mono, DejaVu Sans Mono and the Monospace choices offered by my system (openSUSE-11.4 KDE-4.6.3). I don't like the Liberation Mono font because the lowercase character heights vary. In the end I chose Bitstream Vera Sans Mono because I also use it as my system-wide font. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- jmLandsvik · 2011-05-23 10:46 DejaVu Sans Mono. well, and Raize I've tryed several, but this has a good balance between readability and size.
