Object Inspector - can't type into property box because of hotkey

Um....I can't enter text in an Object Inspector property (e.g. any
Name property, any component) because the OI treats the first letter I
type as a hotkey and jumps to the first property with a name beginning
with that letter.  So if I am in the OI for a form, click on Name, get
a blinking cursor and type the letter e, the cursor jumps to the
Enabled property (!).  I cannot enter text for textual properties.

What is going on?  I perused the environment/editor options as well as
this forum and didn't see anything.  I'm stuck!!!

Theo, thank you.  The tab thing still seems highly annoying, but at
least I can hack my through it now.  I wonder if there's a plan to
make this a global setting so that users can choose a default
behavior....
