Identifier Completion - how? lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Wodzu · 2010-01-27 22:09 Hi guys. I am pressing Control + Space but instead of obtaining a list of Identifiers the IDE opens me an glut unit which is added by me to the uses list. What's wrong? One addition to the problem. It doesn't work only in the case when I do File->New..->Program and then I add glut unit like this: Code: [Select]program Project1; {$mode objfpc}{$H+} uses   {$IFDEF UNIX}{$IFDEF UseCThreads}   cthreads,   {$ENDIF}{$ENDIF}   Classes   { you can add units after this },   glut; //new unit here {$R project1.res} begin   <--- Identifier Completion doesn't work here, takes me to the glut unit end. I am using Windows 7, build: Lazarus-0.9.29-23526-fpc-2.4.1-20100122-win32 I was browsing this link: http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Lazarus_I DE_Tools#Identifier_Completion but I couldn't find a solution to the problem. Also, is there a possibility to show parameters which are needed for the procedure, f.e. If we have a proc: Code: [Select]procedure Test(Param1: Integer; Param2: Boolean); when I type in code Code: [Select]Test( I will get a popup window with needed paramas. Thanks for your time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- theo · 2010-01-27 22:39 Quote from: Wodzu on January 27, 2010, 11:09:57 pmAlso, is there a possibility to show parameters which are needed for the procedure, http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Lazarus_IDE_Tools#Parameter_Hints ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Wodzu · 2010-01-28 08:43 Thanks theo. What about isue which I described? The problem lies in glut unit. When I hit Control + Space, IDE tries to parse this unit and stopes with this message: C:\lazarus\fpc\2.4.1\source\packages\opengl\src\glut.pp(441,52) Error: expected end., but mode_inline found It seems that this keyword mode_inline is not properly handled by the parser? Should I report this bug somewhere? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- theo · 2010-01-28 09:58 Quote from: Wodzu on January 28, 2010, 09:43:06 amShould I report this bug somewhere?
