How to use other characters?

First: Sorry of my English.

I can do sth like this:
Code: [Select]str_String:='⁹';
but not this code:
Code: [Select]sthString[1]:='⁹';
and this code also out of order:
Code: [Select]sthString[1]:=widechar('⁹');
how to place character '⁹' to any specified place in String?

I want to place character like ⁹ to specified place in String and show
String by label:
Label1:=sthString;

Could you tell me how can I do it?

In unit LCLProc there is UTF8Insert.

Or you can use UTF8Scanner http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Theodp
