Backup files running lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- utec1 · 2009-09-28 14:04 Hi, Seems that the forum there is not the answer I'm looking ... Go to menu:  Environment > Option > Backup Lazarus does back up many files but only a few: the project file and the file PAS. Forms and other remain excluded from the backup. Is provided so or is there another way to make backups of all files in use at that time? It would be important to know it! I could give up your files in completing the project or run because the file is lost the originals. If there could restore the backup at any time. Thank's ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Martin_fr · 2009-09-28 18:51 It seems you are right. .lpi, .pas, .pp, .p, .inc files are backed-up .lfm file (form data) are not backed-up (unless you have the lfm source view in the editor)./ That seems to be a bug (IMHO). => you could report this in the bug- tracker. Which other files? .lpr files do not need to be backed-up. They are auto generated. If you loose an lpr, it is generated from the lfm. .rc files normaly are auto generated too. so if they get lost the IDE creates them from scratch (based on you lpi). However rc files you can edit yourself. Then you would loose them as they are not backed-up.
