Form opening minimized in Ubuntu.

I am converting an old Delphi programme (cira 97)

I do data entry in form1 and use form2 to see the results.

I press a button on form1, this then does:
form1.hide
form2.show

form2 just appears in the task bar, minimized in Ubuntu - Opens OK in
in XP.
BTW I also have a 3rd form that does open ok in both Ubuntu/XP

Is there an option to open on the desktop as I can't see one.

Try to change the "Windows State" and see what happens

I can't test Ubuntu just now however, it is set to wsNormal.

It is set to wsNorman, even wsMaximized just appears as an icon on the
task bar.
