Help,how to create lybrary of my own subprograms?

Hello friends,
I have a problem, since i recently learned how to
use functions and procedures in my main Pascal programs,
now i want to save/create my own functions and procedures
in some way that i can call them independantly from my programs.
I'm in process of learning Pascal language and new to Lazarus IDE.
Since now i was creating only simple kind programs like:
file->new->program
so i need any reference that will help me about using simple units and
libraries for my Pascal programs.
Thank's in advanced...
