OpenglControl on lazarus ubuntu?

When I try to install TOpenGLControl into lazarus (Installed on Ubuntu
8.10 intrepid ibex) I get the error:
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find - lGL

This only happens during the openglcontrol installation.

This is a FAQ. it means that you need to install the (devel) package
of the package containing libGL
