Thanks; ---------------------------------------------------------------------- OnixJr · 2008-03-25 15:45 You can use BidiMode = bdRightToLeft (it's working on win32, in others I don't know) http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/BidiMode Regards, Júnior ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Fortuna1 · 2008-03-26 09:24 Quote from: "OnixJr" BidiMode = bdRightToLeft (it's working on win32, in others I Phase 2: Modify Standard controls that supported by OS Add RightToLeft to Standard controls, done here for Win32  TForm {done}  TButton {done}  TEdit {done}  TListBox {done}  TComboBox {done}  TCheckBox {done}  TStaticText {done}  TGroupBox {done}  TRadioButton {done} (in Win32 need RecreateWnd in SetBidiMode)  TRadioGroup {when write FlipControl function with be done}  TCheckGroup Thanks. In Win32 you can change the Window Style must be in widgets but that for test Code: [Select]   SetWindowLong(Edit1.Handle, GWL_EXSTYLE, GetWindowLong(Edit1.Handle, GWL_EXSTYLE) or WS_EX_RIGHT); ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zaher · 2008-03-29 21:41 I reviewed my old project and i found there SetAlignment property i changed the Style Code: [Select]   SetWindowLong(Edit1.Handle, GWL_STYLE, GetWindowLong(Edit1.Handle, GWL_STYLE) or ES_RIGHT); For Center Code: [Select]   SetWindowLong(Edit1.Handle, GWL_STYLE, GetWindowLong(Edit1.Handle, GWL_STYLE) or ES_CENTER); I can make patch for new property Alignment to TEdit, but that after release a stable version of Lazarus, and have permission from the team, i prefer i to add it because it conflict with BidiMode property. Just Win32, i dont now how to make it in other platforms ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bart · 2008-03-30 14:45 First succeed in implementing this cross platform. Don't patch TEdit, just derive a new component from TEdit and implement the text- alignment there. If you succeed, donate this component to the lazarus project. I for one would be thankfull. Bart ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zaher · 2008-03-30 20:51 It must in widgets to make cross platform, and must patch the TEdit because it effect and conflict with BidiMode property, i already cared about TLabel.Alignment and its BidiMode when make BidiMode patches. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Fortuna1 · 2008-03-31 02:03 Quote from: "Bart" just derive a new component from TEdit and implement the text-alignment there. How soon :?: Ok, I guess you misunderstood me. I did not mean to say that I myself was in the process of doing this. I just meant that if you wanted to implement a property Alignment: TAlignment for a TEdit like component, then you should not patch TEdit itself (because that would break compatibility with Delphi), but you should instead derive a new component from TEdit (ot TCustumEdit?) and then implement this new property in this new component. I myself have absolutely no idea how to implement text-alignment in non-Windows widgetsets, so I cannot help you with that. If you really desperately need this, you could alway pos a bounty for such a feature... (As a workaroud you can (a)buse a TMemo for this purpose for the time being.) Bart ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Fortuna1 · 2008-05-10 15:38 Thanks.
