Own text instead of shortcut text in menu? lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dvhx · 2008-02-19 13:32 Is it possible to have own text in the place where in menu is displayed shortcut? A picture for demonstration: (http://img165.imageshack.us/img165/3439/owntextte6.png) I want it for special shortcut keys, e.g. "Numpad +", or "Esc+X S", "Ctrl+X Ctrl+S". I will catch theese shorcuts with my own code, so I don't need from theese shortcuts to actually work. I just need to display there a "fake shortcut description". It is possible?[/img] ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Phil · 2008-02-19 15:11 Quote from: "dusan.halicky"I want it for special shortcut keys, e.g. "Numpad +", or "Esc+X S", "Ctrl+X Ctrl+S". I think these have to be single key shortcuts, whereas what you've indicated are more than one keystroke. Thanks. -Phil ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dvhx · 2008-02-20 08:04 Is there somewhere (in lcl or so) function which converts regular shortcuts,e.g. Ctrl+X into string "Ctrl+X" or this conversion is provided by widget set (gtk,win32)?
