Default font for Lazarus environment

As a follow-up on the ultra-wide font topic, I now believe that I do
not have the default font installed. Could someone tell me which font
is used by default in the Lazarus IDE ? (on Linux)

I have tried finding my way for the first time in the IDE souce code,
but it is a bit humbling

On Windows, the default font is whatever font is set up in the desktop
properties. For example, on Win XP the default default font is Tahoma.
So I run an Lazarus app that uses the default font, it will use, at
runtime, whatever the Windows default font is.

Don't know about Linux.
