pressing F1

Hello,

F1 is the general help key in most applications.

When I hit it in the code pane it just prompt with an error.

Is there a help file at all?

And will it help me on commands when pressing F1 or CTRL-F1 like in
the old TP/BP IDE's ?

Press F1 on Editor for context sensitive help (you need to be online).
