Selection to end and space

If text selection not ends to line end and then press space bar after
that selected text is replaced with space.

 But if text selection ends to end of line after pressing space bar
selected text just disappear and no space is inserted.
 Also if before that selection exist one or more spaces they also are
auto removed.

 How turn off that feature?

P.S. I use Kubuntu 7.04, and Lazarus latest svn.

I just tested here and I confirm it behaves like this. Something like
that looks inserted on purpose, maybe there is a reason why SynEdit
behaves like that.

Doesn't seam like a problem to me.
