Run error lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nitoc3 · 2007-02-23 17:26 Every time I try to run a program in Lazarus I get this error: Project raised exception class 'External: SIGSEGV'. I press Ok and get this second window: Execution paused Adress: $7C928FEA Procedure: ntdll!RtlpWaitForCriticalSection File: the program is running in the background, I can see it in the Task Manager but I can't do anything else. I have to go to the menu Run>Stop and stop the execution. I'm using Lazarus 0.9.20 with FPC 2.0.4 on WinXP SP2. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Danail · 2007-02-23 17:32 See if you have closed all files that you have opened. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- nitoc3 · 2007-02-24 00:45 Yes, I'm sure all files are closed, it happens even if I just opened Lazarus. The only files open are the project files I'm working. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Danail · 2007-02-24 11:47 I mean if you use something like:  Reset(F1);  or  Rewrite(F1);  or  Applend(F1);  have you placed later a:  CloseFile(F1);  Try also to create a new empty project and run it. If the problem dissapears it is something in your source code. If the problem persists with the another project then the problem is in Lazarus or the operation system or something else.  See the both and write again.
