Greek letters in editor & object inspector

Hi,
Does anybody know how to write Greek characters in the Lazarus
IDE (Editor and properties editor) ?
I use Ubuntu 6.10 and Gnome 2.16.1

The Lazarus text editor ignores all leters typed in a foreign
language. I used another text editor to write the text in Bulgarian (I
suppose it will be the same for the greek), then I used the copy-
paste method and copied it in the Lazarus editor and it worked. If you
simply type it, it do not works, but when you copy- paste it it works.
Try that if no one gives you a beter answer.

To use greek characters on the Object inspector rebuild Lazarus for
Gtk 2.

The editor, however, doesn´t work with foreign characters under unix.
Only works on Windows. It´s a known bug. (or lack of feature).

Did the copy paste method worked or you are typing foreign language on
another way? If so please tell me how so I also to use it.
