I'm still using Lazarus v.0.9.16, the latest stable Lazarus release.
I'm not pretty interested to try the snapshot version (0.9.17). The
feature I most need in the next release is a working and intelligent
code folding. It'll be alot better if Lazarus' code folding algorithm
is smarter than Delphi's.

From my experience using v.0.9.16, its code folding is buggy and not
working as it should be (as it's stated as experimental feature). Is
there somebody here can inform us how's Lazarus code folding status on
v.0.9.17? Is it stable and working? Does it support $REGION directive?
Is this feature gonna be stable on next release?

Code folding is working pretty well on Lazarus 0.9.19. I am not 100%
sure, but it probably is also on Lazarus 0.9.18 just released.

However I think it doesn´t yet support $REGION. Aside from that, seams
to work pretty well for me.
