printing source code ... how?? lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- sirius · 2006-04-18 22:49 It seams important to print source code to study it on paper ... with lazarus, i do not find this possibility. I use Delphi 7 .. marvelous, perfect ! I tryed Kylix but its killed, so lazarus is a good way to develop in pascal for cross platform and leaving Borland (except if you use java ). Printing code source is important. Widgets and others can be added later. connectivity with MYSQl and POSTGRES are very necessary to make interresting things too. I tryed too QT and GTK an WXWIDGET ; LAZARUS has many advantages but it is stupid to fall down with lack of a simple printing!!! i you have informations i'lle be glad to discover them bye ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc · 2006-04-19 08:42 Copy & paste it in your fav editor and print ? At the time the IDE was build there was no printing support. Noone took the time to add it later. Feel free to send a patch ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bart · 2006-04-19 11:49 Use a parser to create RTF or HTML from Pascal source and then inport it into your favorite wordprocessor? There are plenty parsers out there, or just write one yourself as I wrote my PasParser.zip. Bart
