Quick snytax check does not seem to work

Hello,
I use Lazarus 0.9.12 beta under Windows XP.

I have the impression that the quick syntax check does not seem to
work at all.

I introduced the following spaces into a compiling code in order to
provoke error messages:

  Form1KeyP    ress(Sender, Key);
  Form1Mouse  Down(Sender, mbLeft, [ssShift], 10, 20);

... and thought that the quick syntax check might complain about these
typos, but nothing happened.

Clearly, the quick syntax check is currently useless then.

Any suggestions? Thanks

As this bug still exists in 0.9.14, I have reported it in Lazarus
bugtracker.
