How to... lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Galbi · 2005-09-23 22:54 Sorry, I´m a begginer and I can´t use the Strings Editor Dialog. If I click on Items -->(TStrings) ... the Editor pops up, I choose Sort, then comes the  Sort Selector and... Don´t know what to do. Excuse me if it´s a fool question. :-) Thanks from Argentina Galbi. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Edwin · 2005-09-24 12:07 Hola Galbi, Please explain what you want the Strings Editor to do? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ssy · 2005-09-24 13:29 Strings Editor Dialog is working for Win32 again. Just install last snapshot. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Edwin · 2005-09-24 14:26 In the latest snapshot the Strings Editor is fixed! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous · 2005-09-24 16:33 First of all, thanks for your answer. When I said I was a beginner I meant I was a VERY, VERY  beginner. I´m "playing" with Lazarus as a hobby so forgive me if my questions are too much basic and feel free not to reply if you think it´s a waste if your time. I´m lerning using the book Delphi 4 from Victor Moral (Prentice Hall) as a guide, I´m trying to make the examples of the book, and have problems to use a List Box in a form. Q: The procedures must have any special order in a form? Q: Using TMemo, how can I have not displayed Memo1 (or whatever the name) in the memo? Thats all. And THANKS again. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- matthijs · 2005-09-26 06:18 In the Object Inspector you will see the "lines" property of the memo. If you click on the ...-button a window will appear in which you can clear the text. During runtime you can clear the text in the memo by Code: [Select]   Memo1.Clear; ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous · 2005-09-26 12:50 Thanks Matthijs, that´s what I tried to do, but the window you mention is the String Editor, isn´t it? In the version I have, it´s not working, so,  I´ll try with the last one aveilable. Tnx. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous · 2005-09-27 01:46 Quote from: "Anonymous"Q: The procedures must have any special order in a form? No. The procedures can be on any order. The only thing similar to a order is the fact that the procedure header must be on the interface section and the procedure code must be on the implementation section Felipe ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous · 2005-10-06 14:16 Gracias Felipe...
