Problem in to form string. Conectiva linux 10.

Hi peoples!

  At my conectiva linux 10, I'm with problem with my keybord on
Lazarus. When i try to form a string, the character ' (ascii 39)
appears like ´ (ascii 239), so I can't get to form a string.
Ex.: showmessage(´teste´);
  Appears the error message: FATAL: illegal character "'´'" ($B4).
  My keyboard is configured correct in system. On other programs, I
don't have this problem, only on Editor Lazarus.

How can I solve it?

can you try without deadkeys ?

I tried and the problem continue. I'll go to try other distribution,
I'm having other problems type also with the conectiva.

Eu também uso o conectiva 10 e não tenho nenhum problema!
meu teclado está configurado como ABNT 2.

I guess you get the ´ when pressing the ' twice. You can get the ' by
typing ' + space
Choosing a normal keyboard in stead ogf a international should also
solve it.
