Problems with code completion lazarus / 9-Editor ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Developer · 2004-11-29 09:35 Hi! I have a problem with code completion of Lazarus editor. I have a debian sid with transcoded fonts installed but when I try to call code completion the small window appears but the text inside is unreadable (dotted square, tipical of not found fonts). What I can do? Can I change the font directly from sources? If yes, please give me some hints. (Sorry for my bad english) Thanks to all! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lightning · 2004-11-29 15:03 Debian is known to have font problems, please search for older posts. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous · 2004-11-30 15:35 Thanks, but I solved it myself. Now it works... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2004-11-30 21:42 Can you tell us, what you did exactly to solve this. I have a feeling this question will return. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lightning · 2004-12-02 00:10 The Developer, tell us what you did so others can use your method too. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Anonymous · 2004-12-08 14:41 Oh yes! Excuse me for the elapsed time...   On my Debian distribution I have installed the transcoded fonts (apt- cache search *-transcoded*) and then I have selected the Terminal font for the Code editor. It works! :!:  Visit my website: http://devstudio.altervista.org (simple Pascal Development Environment made with Lazarus) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lightning · 2004-12-08 21:55 Oh, another DevPascal Why do you need another when you have Lazarus wich gives you everything ? Try to improve Lazarus, don't create another FPC IDE, there are already too many and none of them can do what Lazarus does. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The Developer · 2004-12-09 18:15 I know, I know, but this is only a code helper, not a RAD tool. In fact, the goal of this project is to create a fast and simple development environment. It's just a tool that gives you the possibility to create simple programs in a little time. Lazarus is excellent but is recommended for Graphical applications. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Lightning · 2004-12-09 20:06 I forgot, please complete the Lazarus-CCR guide if it's not too much to ask  ---------------------------------------------------------------------- dregis · 2009-01-20 00:11 I have the same problem with linpus linux (feodra    all seems perfect....except I can't read anything...dissapointing...I thought I had found the perfect IDE...any help much appreciated! thanks!
