[SOLVED] Lazarus docked style form editor lag/stutter

Hi,

I'm currently trying docked form using packages "AnchorDocking 1.0,"
"AnchorDockingDsgn 1.0" and "sparta_dockedformeditor 0.0" but the form
editor is lagging badly - about 1 seconds delay when I click on
"Designer" tab with empty form. When I use some GUI components it
becomes 2-3 seconds delay.

My system is 4 cores 8 threads / 16gb RAM / Lazarus on SSD / GTX1650
(I understand that Lazarus isn't GPU-accelerated?)

Any idea?

Operating System? Lazarus version? WidgetSet?

Oops! Forgot to mention these.
Lazarus 2.2.0 (rev lazarus_2_2_0) FPC 3.2.2 i386-win32-win32/win64 on
Windows 10 x64 using LCL.

The docked form designer is in the components/dockedformeditor
directory. My experiences with the Sparta packages was always
negative. It was broken too often.

You still need the AnchorDocking packages though.

sparta_dockedformeditor should not be used for newer Lazarus. If the
dockedformeditor is in components, use this package and REMOVE the
package sparta_dockedformeditor. Never, never use both !!!

Thanks everyone for your help. sparta package was the issue, now using
DockedFormEditor with AnchorDocking and AnchorDockingDsgn packages and
it's working smoothly! Thanks again
