Just read on the Delphi forum (Delphi Praxis) that Rudy Velthuis has
passed away. A big loss for the Pascal community, he will be sorely
missed.

Shocked to learn that bad news.
Some years ago we had some email discussions together and we met at
BorCon a few times.

Smart and friendly man.

I studied his article on floating point numbers quite a bit.
It helped me patching the floating point helpers.

I am very sad to know that the Delphi/Lazarus community has lost
