[Wiki] Add new links forbidden lazarus / 8-Other ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zaher · 2019-11-30 10:51 I am trying to add new links for new engine, it keeping asking me for formula to detected if i am human, i removed http to post it (also asked me but posted) Would you please check what the wrong, also fix links. https://wiki.freepascal.org/Game_Engine ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Handoko · 2019-11-30 11:26 The last edited time of the page was today. But I can see some links are not in correct format, they have brackets. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zaher · 2019-11-30 13:25 I removed https to allow me to post, for that it is not correct. I can't post with full link. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- lucamar · 2019-11-30 15:49 I've corrected them. You forgot to add the protocol (the "http://" or "https://") to the links and they were not recognized as links. It asked me for the formula, which it does whenever an external link is added, I answered and it was posted all right. Most problems with that formula, BTW, are caused because it's not taken at face value: it asks for the result of concatenating two strings, not for an arithmetical sum. Tricky if one doesn't pay atention to that detail. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- af0815 · 2019-11-30 16:27 Hehe, think pascal if you add a link. '1'+'1':='11'; concat strings to block unwanted posts is the magic, not only dumb arithmetic. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zaher · 2019-11-30 17:41 I am accountant I can solve the simple formulas The problem it is keep asking me about formula and never post it until i removed http and https, if i removed it it ask too for formula but post it. I guess I my account is restricted somehow. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zaher · 2019-11-30 17:42 concat strings? if i removed http/https plus formula answer accepted. Once you remove the http/https part, those are no longer external links so there is no problem in posting them. Of course "they are no longer links" means they're not embedded in an anchor but taken as pure text, as you could see. "Concatenate strings" is how the answer to the security question is built. In Pascal the answer to: '12' + '34' is different to: 12 + 34. The first gives a string: '1234' while the later gives, unsurprisingly: 46. That's the tricky part: you've to answer as a Pascal programmer, not as an accountant. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Zaher · 2019-11-30 18:02 Ah my eyes, it is concating string not just numeric plus. I think I am being old to focus on small characters in new hd monitors. thank you ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bart · 2019-12-01 11:15 Copy-Paste-Build-Run?
