vrml viewer for windows. lazarus / 8-Other ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2018-01-16 04:23 any one can recommend a free *.wrl viewer for windows? no source is required I'm looking for a no install single exe viewer mostly to avoid polluting my system with installation of a single utility that will be used very infrequently (once a year is the biggest frequency expected). As far as I can see castle engine has a 3dviewer that might support vrml but no executable release and I would rather avoid compiling it my self at this point. A sample *.Wrl file can be found at http://members.chello.nl/o.veenstra3/vrml/yacs/curta_1_dec.wrl ---------------------------------------------------------------------- scons · 2018-01-16 08:00 View3dScene, can be executed without install, just extract in a folder and run the .exe It only installs some small files with earlier opened files i nit, but that's like 90-95% of all Windows programs i think... If you do not want that (history of opened files) you can rebuild it so it does not check for that. https://castle-engine.sourceforge.io/view3dscene.php ---------------------------------------------------------------------- taazz · 2018-01-16 08:06 Quote from: scons on January 16, 2018, 09:00:36 amView3dScene, can be executed without install, just extract in a folder and run the .exe It only installs some small files with earlier opened files i nit, but that's like 90-95% of all Windows programs i think...
