Is Lazarus written in Delphi?

Of course I can't believe it but yet I would like to confirm.

In the same way I would like to know if FPC is/was primarily written
in Delphi or not?

May be he ment Object Pascal language which origionally developed by
Borland

First implementation of FPC was made and compiled with Turbo Pascal.
After that, FPC can now compile itself.

See for yourself, it's open source: svn.freepascal.org/svn/fpc/ &
svn.freepascal.org/svn/lazarus/
but no, Delphi never touches FPC / Lazarus development in anyway,
although some crazy people ever tried to make Delphi able to compile
FPC source, with no benefit.

If read past the list you'll see that he mentions Delphi or FPC,
