Hi all,

New forum member here. Call me Heeb. Or Matthew.

Just came here to say how absolutely happy I am nowadays with the
whole Lazarus project!

I have been a Delphi programmer (starting with version 1.0 on Win 3.1,
and Turbo Pascal before that, also starting with version 1.0) for as
long as I can remember, professionally in a few jobs too.

I have been trying Lazarus over the years, but in comparison to Delphi
it never seemed quite  mature enough for production work.

That all seems to have changed recently! Lazarus has made great
strides. It's stable. The interface is more consistent. Dialogs have
been cleaned up. Etc., etc., etc...

I find myself using Lazarus now, rather than Delphi.

So: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, ALL FPC AND LAZARUS
CONTRIBUTORS!!! YOU ROCK.

P.S. I use Lazarus 0.9.31 with FPC 2.5.1.

Well, that's good because you just joined a forum with thousands of
other people that share your enthusiasm
