FPC 2.5.1 r16254 compile error zeoslib 6.6.6 stable lazarus / 8-Other ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rmendoza83 · 2010-10-29 16:36 Good Evening friends, how are you? I comment my case, work with Lazarus and freepascal with their latest versions from SVN repository, and from this review referred to in the case Zeoslib 6.6.6 package I can not compile because the following error: <) LongInt; Cdecl, "found>> In addition to this error there are others but the same case and therefore I do not think it takes mentioning. I finally updated the compiler causes the problem. I can do? I have to be back among the versions of the compiler so that it can generate the latest version of lazarus. Is this a bug? report it as I can, I hope your comments. Greetings. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc · 2010-10-31 15:34 r16180/r16181 introduces XPCom-compatible interfaces, but it breaks existing. I also think this is already solved in ZEOS-svn. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- marcov · 2010-10-31 18:48 Afaik, the only solution is to ifdef such cases like this: {$ifdef fpc} constref{$else}const {$endif} and then ifdefed for 2.5.1 vs 2.4 series: {$if defined(fpc) and (FPC_FULLVERSION>20500)} (but that excludes old FPC/Delphi versions that don't support $if) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rmendoza83 · 2010-11-01 12:31 Quote from: Marc on October 31, 2010, 04:34:17 pmr16180/r16181 introduces XPCom-compatible interfaces, but it breaks existing. Really what I'm doing at the moment is to return to a more ancient version of FPC (r16221) to all I know is that I can successfully compile Zeos components. Now would be interesting to know how to correct this problem to continue with the programming methodology that I have, which is developed under the latest versions of lazarus and freepascal svn. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rmendoza83 · 2010-11-01 12:36 Quote from: Loesje on October 31, 2010, 07:42:19 pmSee here. I have not really wanted to work in this version of the components because they have not yet gone to a beta version. Well in my experience have always had problems with future applications and although alpha Zeos components are so wonderful I have my doubts about the proper functioning of the components. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rmendoza83 · 2010-11-03 13:28 Quote from: Loesje on October 31, 2010, 07:42:19 pmSee here. We could say that this issue is resolved. Thank you all for the contributions, especially Loesje gave me the most appropriate reference for this situation. Greetings.
