Hello i have a Tstream i would like to have it in utf8 encoding.

i have this
var ELStream: TStream;
Image1.Picture.Bitmap.SaveToStream(ElStream);


the image is a jpg file

how can i encode my Tstream in UTF8?????????

i would apreciate any idea, thanks

i think i did not explain good, i do it now

i have an image (jpg) load in a Timage, i saved it as Tstream, i want
to save to a database, but i have an error that show me, the first
line is not a utf8 character, My database is encoding in UTF8, my
clients are UTF8 too. My OS is Windows XP SP3.

Sorry for my crosspost, i forgot to delete it (i confuse where i
wrote), about that page i read since along time ago, but i was a tired
when i wrote the last one, sorry.

i hope it is clear now.

I guess you need a field type for binary data. Maybe some DB expert
can tell you more.
