Anchors not working with TPageControl

When adding components dynamically to a TPageControl page, anchors
don't seem to work (espcially akRight, akBottom).
Lazarus 0.9.27/19777 on Window$Vista.

There are lots of issues in Bugtracker on this subject; all with
status resolved/closed.
Is there still an open issue for this problem (soon to be resoved
hopefully)?
Or should it work and am I missing something here?

Anchors for components placed at design time do work.
