Timage corruption lazarus / 8-Other ---------------------------------------------------------------------- koko · 2008-01-30 13:34 Hi all, I've some problem using timage, here's what i did: - open a new form - drag timage component on it and load a transperent png. Compile and run the program. Here's what i get: http://img210.imageshack.us/img210/5083/timageyi1.png As you can see, background appears corrupted, i tried to: - set transparent true or false - set stretch true or false - Compile in gtk2 and qt ..but things remain the same, is that a known bug? I'm using: - Lazarus 0.9.24 - fpc 2.2.0 - Linux 2.6.22-gentoo-r8 on Amd64 and i686 host. - xorg-x11 7.2 with nvidia drivers 100.14.19 Is this a known issue or am i missing something? Thanks in advance. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Marc · 2008-02-01 10:35 Its not known to me. Did you check mantis ? The strange thing is that it is shown in the ide correctly. You don't have older lazarus units installed somewhere ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- koko · 2008-02-01 11:57 Mmh, i'll check, but i don't think so, 'cause i have the same problem(s) with graphics on another gentoo system too (amd64 and i686). Maybe i'll have to check my cflags. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- koko · 2008-02-13 13:11 I downloaded the latest daily snapshot and it worked well, next i rebuilded my ide in gtk2 and noticed the corruption again. I switched my ide to gtk1 and the problem went away. I can observe this behaviour with the default gentoo package too (0.9.24), no matter if the target application is gtk1 or 2, for me to have working transparent Timages, my ide has to run in gtk1! WTH !?
