How to read standard gnome icon? lazarus / 8-Other ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vrull · 2007-12-05 03:51 If I have TIcon or TBitmap component, how can I load a standard icon using its name according to Icon Naming Convention? For example, there is an icon called "dialog-information" (which look depends on current icon theme), how can I display this icon in my Lazarus program for GTK2 or Qt? Thank you in advance. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vrull · 2007-12-06 20:05 Some more information. What I am looking for is implemented in this function: MessageDlg('Confirmation',mtInformation, mbOKCancel, 0); Depending on the value of TMsgDlgType (mtInformation) the dialog shows one of the standard icons (dialog-information in this case). Cannot find the module with the implementation of this code to see how it was made. Any ideas? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2007-12-07 05:33 Even by clicking the MessageDlg while pressing Ctrl? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vrull · 2007-12-07 05:43 I did not know about Ctrl+click, but it seems the same as Find Declaration in the popup menu. Unlike Delphi, Lazarus brings exactly declaration, just a single header line, and any further search gives no results. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- vrull · 2007-12-07 06:54 Looks like I have found something useful. After jumping by Find Declaration, there is another possibility to get further - Find -> Procedure Jump.  It does the trick.
