I only recently discovered Free Pascal an Lazarus. I loved using
Pascal back in my 1980s college days. These days I am more of a
hobbyist when ic comes to programing. For the most part I have been
impressed with Free Pascal and Lazarus. But in these few weeks of
discovering it, and browsing the forums, I am noticing some issues.

One, that I would like to mention, is this very website. It looks very
professional, which is why the Windows "Borg" graphic on the Topics
page stands out as such a childish swipe at MS. Do you really want to
slap the largest customer base in the face like that? I have no
particular love for Windows but seems rather stupid to spit in the
face of potentially your largest user base.  Or is that really the
attitude here?

I think it's just the default graphic that the Content Management
System that this website uses offered. And because noone yet had
interrest in changing it, it just remained like that.

You are free to provide a better alternative graphic and send it to
Michael Hess.

There are long term plans to substitute this website with something
similar to the Free Pascal WebSite, or even merge both, but this is
long term.
