Hi, I have created a simple Master detail demo with Tdbf component,
can some one tell me where I can post it?

Create a page on the wiki explaining the example like SysRec, Contacts
Database or MySQL demo and send me the source. Don't let the length of
the example pages stop you, I don't mind if it is not as elaborate.

This is my first outing in forums or wikis, so thank you for your

Thanks for the wiki page. I moved the page to the general content. You

The DbfLaz package is now (version 0.9.13) installed by default.

It used rxnew, which does not compile with fpc 2..3.1

It used hardcoded path for the dbf, so that needed to be fixed too.

Therefore I did not upload it yet.

If anybody else is interested in this, it can be done by setting the
filter property for the detail table.

Set DBEdit1 to the Master source keyfield. ( In this case, the invoice
number )

  DbfItems.Filter := 'ITEMINVOICENUMBER = ' + DBEdit1.Text;

It may not be the right way but I have had 2 days with Lazarus & 12
years with Delphi.

I wish Tdbf demo would work in Kylix.
Does anybody has suck demo working using tdbf component?
