CGI Development - Help needed lazarus / 8-Other ---------------------------------------------------------------------- loufeliz · 2007-01-14 20:48 Hello.  I have been using Delphi since 1.0 and Intraweb sinc V5 for web apps.   I am now making shift o using PHP and would like to use Lazarus and FPC to build CGI programs to use with my web apps. I am looking to deploy on Win32 and Linux   and would like to know if there are any samples out there of doing CGI  that works on  Linux and Win32. I will be moving forward with latest snapshot and FPC 2.04 and look forward to finally getting to develop for linux. - Lou ---------------------------------------------------------------------- RudieD · 2007-01-15 10:41 Have a look at PSP (Pascal Server Pages). It's great. I've run some tests on it (Linux & Win2K) and it's realy fast. The Forum is at http://z505.com/cgi-bin/PasForum/index.psp ---------------------------------------------------------------------- loufeliz · 2007-01-16 00:33 Thanks.  I found that site last night as well as a simple entry on the FreePascal Wiki page.  I have code that I have been since Turbo Pascal 3 that is currently in a Delphi app w/Intraweb front end.  I am currently crafting an interface using PHP and will use FP to generate the CGI to produce an app that I can deploy on Win32 and Linux.    Now I am off to write some CGI apps that connect to my database backend (Firebird , though I may have to also give MYSQL or Postgres a try) Cheers! - Lou
