SIGSEGV when using Printer lazarus / 8-Other ---------------------------------------------------------------------- danny61 · 2006-12-11 21:50 Hello, i wrote a printing routine that works fine on one of my PCs (WinXP SP2). On my second PC (winXP SP2) it runs fine when i start the EXE-file. But in the Lazarus IDE or in GDB it raises the following error when i try : Printer.Printers[Printer.PrinterIndex] Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault. 0x67c318b9 in hpvui50!DllGetClassObject () Backtrace: #0  0x67c318b9 in hpvui50!DllGetClassObject () #1  0x768193b3 in unidrvui!DrvUpgradePrinter ()    from C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\unidrvui.dll #2  0x767fee46 in unidrvui!DrvUpgradePrinter ()    from C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\unidrvui.dll #3  0x767f94b0 in unidrvui!DrvDeviceCapabilities ()    from C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\unidrvui.dll #4  0x767fa64b in unidrvui!DrvDevicePropertySheets ()    from C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\unidrvui.dll #5  0x767fbfab in unidrvui!DrvDriverEvent ()    from C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\3\unidrvui.dll #6  0x72f76771 in WINSPOOL!EnumJobsW () from C:\WINDOWS\system32\winspool.drv I think there must be a connection with my HP DeskJet 850c printer- driver. When i select another printer as default, i can use Printer.Printers[Printer.PrinterIndex] to get the default printer. But when i start the PrinterSetupDialog i get an error, too. What can i do to run this application in the IDE ? thx ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2006-12-12 10:19 What happens if you continue (F9)? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- danny61 · 2006-12-12 13:00 On F9 the same error occurs ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2006-12-12 13:28 But what happens if you continue *after* the eror has occurred? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- danny61 · 2006-12-12 20:07 same error again and again ... ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2006-12-12 20:10 Too bad.
