Create Help file lazarus / 8-Other ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bonmario · 2006-10-23 11:29 Hi, someone know where i can found documentation about creation of "Help file" to add at my executable (in Windows CHM files) Thanks, Mario ---------------------------------------------------------------------- felipemdc · 2006-10-24 18:02 If you are doing professional work you should consider buying Help & Manual: www.helpandmanual.com It was created on Delphi and is one of the best help editors out there. I don't know any freeware or free software chm editors. If you are writting free software I advise looking into other formats. I think there is a partial help framework on Lazarus Component Library. Vincent was working on it, but I don't know how far it is. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Vincent Snijders · 2006-10-25 08:31 I was not working on a help system. Maybe Mattias was. There is a help example in SVN. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- CCRDude · 2006-10-25 08:57 A free CHM Help editor? What about Microsofts HTML Help Workshop? Just search for HTML Help Workshop on the Microsoft page. Needs some HTML knowledge for the pages, but the GUI helps with all the other stuff (Overview, Index, ...). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bonmario · 2006-10-25 15:29 Ok, thanks to all ---------------------------------------------------------------------- rabbit · 2006-10-30 08:44 I know a very good free software,Help Maker(http://www.vizacc.com/).you can select English,Cyrillic,French,Chinese,Italian,Spanish or German in the languge menu,if none of them is your language, you can download the translation string file from the website and do the translation, then return it to the development team(for example,I did the Chinese transltion by this way). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- bonmario · 2006-11-06 08:11 Quote from: "rabbit"I know a very good free software,Help Maker(http://www.vizacc.com/).you can select English,Cyrillic,French,Chinese,Italian,Spanish or German in the languge menu,if none of them is your language, you can download the translation string file from the website and do the translation, then return it to the development team(for example,I did the Chinese transltion by this way).
