Hi,

I need to do a output for matrix printer.
In old way (delphi) I had used this way:

 var Impressora : Textfile;

...
     AssignFile(Impressora,'LPT1');
...
     rewrite (impressora);
     writeln (impressora,format('%48s',['X']));     
...


Can I use this in lazarus ?      :roll:

C#R#, without reply for your question =], Why you do not use package
printer4lazarus and use type TPrinter?

It´s a finished program in delphi, where all spaces to print are
ready.
I wold´like to use this without change, but I have no way to test
here.

dont use assign, cast TextRec(impressora), set InOutFunc (see Assign
in rtl/inc/text.inc) and use that to write to the printer using
printer4lazarus.
AFAIK this wrapper already exists.
