I wanna gnome /gtk2 version

Any idea how far off a gnome/gtk2 version is?

I cant stand gtk1 apps as they hurt my eyes with their ugly fonts and
grotty look and feel.  

Why on earth are all the properties in the object inspector in
capitals? Its ghastly like that - surely it cant be too much effort to
make it mixed case like as in Delphi!

Thats because the compiler RTTI info is in all uppercase for fpc <=
1.0.11
I 've read that the 1.9 version of the compiler has mixed case like
Delphi.
