LazOpenGLContext: 'Could not find FB config' lazarus / 70-OpenGL ---------------------------------------------------------------------- apeoperaio · 2014-05-06 09:03 I developed an application using LazOpenGLContext, one of the application user reported me that he got an error when running my app remotely on CentOS (kernel 2.6.32-431.5.1.el6.x86_64). The application works locally but running remotely he got this error: 'Could not find FB config' My application is compiled using laz_1.0.15_r44348M_FPC_2.6.2_x86_64-linux Could you help me trying to identify the problem? Is it possible that some libraries is missing on the local machine? What may I ask to better understand the problem and how to solve it? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Ocye · 2014-05-06 11:02 ldd or yum info in case of your distribution shows all dependencies. Maybe you haven't installed an OpenGL lib yet. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- apeoperaio · 2014-05-06 11:26 Let me check if I well understood, it could be that there is a missing opengl library on the machine calling the application remotely? Since it works locally on the PC where it is installed (let call it the server) but it does not work if called remotely could be that the missing library is on the PC that calls the application remotely (the client)? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Andru · 2014-05-06 11:53 Quote from: apeoperaioSince it works locally on the PC where it is installed (let call it the server) but it does not work if called remotely could be that the missing library is on the PC that calls the application remotely (the client)? If there wasn't a libGL on remote PC then application wouldn't start(with console output about libGL.so.1). You get an error that means - remote session doesn't support frame buffer configuration which LazOpenGLContext trying to set. I think there is no double buffer support or something else, unfortunately I'm not an expert. So, try to search something about X11 and OpenGL when application works remotely.
