No file MAP

Hi, this is my first post, and I am approaching Lazarus since few
days, after about 20 years delphi development.

I enabled the MAP file generation by the -Xm compiler option, but I
cannot get any MAP file.

Could somebody help me?

I usually do -Xgm

I created a bug report which includes a patch to allow usage of -Xm
under linux systems.
