LazSerial - where's Sertest? lazarus / 62-General ---------------------------------------------------------------------- HatForCat · 2017-01-18 16:54 I must be getting old-er. Where can I find a copy of the SerTest source? The only file I can find on the LazSerial thread here is LazSerial.7z and Ubuntu doesn't seem to know anything about ".7z." Has Linux support been abandoned?  I also checked the GitHub LazSerial pages and nothing there about SerTest either. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Jurassic Pork · 2017-01-18 17:06 hello, for file roller in ubuntu : QuoteNot installed by default in Ubuntu The following formats require additional packages to be used. They may have incomplete support, with some requiring non-free software to have full support. Format File extension 7zip .7z Require p7zip package, which doesn't provide multi-volume support. To support password-protected archives, needs the p7zip-full package Friendly, J.P ---------------------------------------------------------------------- HatForCat · 2017-01-18 18:36 Quote from: Jurassic Pork on January 18, 2017, 06:06:12 pmNot installed by default in Ubuntu So I have to install some more software just to open one file? Seems a bit extreme. Will pass on LazSerial then.
