Version control support lazarus / 6-IDE-CodeTools ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Rave · 2013-03-17 19:27 IMO, it would be awesome if we have version control support in Lazarus. Yes I can open terminal and use git/svn from there, but that's not the point. The point is to allow using those systems from Lazarus, in simple way, probably similar to which Netbeans does that. How about that? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- BigChimp · 2013-03-17 19:55 Good idea. IIRC, there is an svn package for Lazarus that may do what you want for svn (haven't looked at it in a long time, can't remember). I recently wrote mercurial/hg and git modules as well as svn as part of fpcup https://bitbucket.org/reiniero/fpcup/src svnclient.pas hgclient.pas gitclient.pas repoclient.pas and will also need at least processutils.pas though that can be factored out (note: no push/commit support yet but easy enough to add) Integrating the 2 sets may be worthwile ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Leledumbo · 2013-03-18 13:39 This is the only thing I can find: http://wiki.freepascal.org/LazSVNPkg BigChimp's VCS client units should be good to be improved as IDE extensions.
