It works the other way around: once the 1.0 features have been
implemented, and the open bugs with that version target have been
fixed, then 1.0 will be released. Setting a fixed release date for 1.0
would simply mean that anything not implemented/fixed by then would
not be in 1.0.

As far as I know, the only estimated date for 1.0 is "when it's done".
And the which features that will include will probably depend on when
it's released. You can see the current status of visual form
