Lazreport: Cannot print out Jpeg when imported from Form

Hello, I'm having problems printing out a report containing a Jpeg
image only when I use the following code to export the image from a
Form to a Lazreport page:

procedure TForm1.frReport1EnterRect(Memo: TStringList; View: TfrView);
begin

  if View.Name='picPhoto' then
  begin
     TFrPictureView(View).Picture := Image1.Picture;
  end;

end;


Please consider that, after being exported, the Jpeg image shows
correctly on the report page. The problem arises when I try to print
out the report -- I get a "stream read error". If I remove the code
above and load a Jpeg image directly to the page, I can print it out
without any problems.

Am I missing something about how to deal with Jpeg images?

Does it work if you use assign() function from Picture? It would copy
the picture to your report, instead of using same object reference
(pointer).

I haven't tried the assign function yet.

Anyway, yesterday I "discovered" PowerPDF, which seems to have no
problems with Jpeg pictures and can do the same job I wanted Lazreport
to do. So, I guess I'll just switch to the PDF format.
