There are some other Delphi tutorials on the web related to templates.
Some of them are listed in External links section on wiki.

Native generics support in FPC can't handle generic inheritance and
generic class reference yet. Templates way can do and can be used to
build generic classes library now. Such library could be reworked to
native generics later.
