What is the diferrence of TNotebook and TPageControl?

Why there is two controls which seems alike and behaves alike?

Which one is better in the cross plarform point of view?

TIA

They're both descendents of TCustomNotebook.

In Delphi, TNotebook has long been deprecated, so I would only use
TPageControl.

Thanks.

Is fair assumption.

Thanks.
